FIA-sanctioned, this, with real prizes and stuff. Possibly some Bernie, too, but mostly excellent racing from blokes.
And you know what? This may just be one of the best ways an aspiring racer with zero to little competitive racing experience (no karts, no LeMons,) to become a real driver participating in race events.

Here’s the thing, though: Pro-Am, GT Academy graduates are way too fast. Pro-Pro on a GT3 Nissan or LMP2 car , they’re adequate to spiffy.
And there’s still some more untapped talent out there.
FIA Gran Turismo Sport is an actual championship now, not just a qualifier for a race training program. It may not be the most accurate sim out there—I’m surprised they didn’t go for iRacing, rFactor, or Simraceway right away (like I said, because Bernie)—but still.
